We all know that commuting at work is always a burden everyday since heavy traffic and train technical problems is not a new dilemma particularly in some Asian countries.

Especially when you don't have a car and just commuting at work through public transportations like buses, trains and jeepneys and you feel the time that you have become a waste. For that reason, I have tips for you that you could do during commuting a work to make your time productive and efficient.

1. Listen To Music

As far as we all know, Listening to music has a lot of benefits not just emotionally but also mentally. During commuting at work, listening to music is really beneficial because it serves as a distraction for you to take away the bad vibes you feel especially when you got stuck at the traffic. Aside from that, slow music will relaxes and calm you down by slowing your breathing and heartbeat. So ready your smartphone together with your headset to play the cool playlist you have during commuting.

2. Take A Nap

You could take a nap if you want to make yourself relax even at the bus or train. Remember, you just need to be extra careful with your things for you to avoid that your stuffs will be stolen by some thieves around. Imagine the long hours you sit without doing anything productive? if you sleep, at least you gain some energy because your body and brain was able to rest.

3. Play Mobile Games

To definitely detract boredom during commuting when you are on a bus or train, using your smartphone to play mobile games is helpful. It will not just detract your boredom but also enhance your mental skills. One of the famous mobile games nowadays is Pokemon Go.

Pokémon Go (stylized as Pokémon GO) is a free-to-play, location-based augmented reality game developed by Niantic for iOS and Android devices. It was initially released in selected countries in July 2016. In the game, players use a mobile device's GPS capability to locate, capture, battle, and train virtual creatures, called Pokémon, who appear on the screen as if they were in the same real-world location as the player. The game supports in-app purchases for additional in-game items.

4. Call or Text

Keeping in touch with the people who is close to your heart while commuting through texting and calling is not bad. In fact, it is helpful because they will be able to know where you are. Actually, when I am on a train, I see a lot of passengers using their smartphones for texting or calling. They literally spend their time wisely by communicating to other people even into a not so comfortable place and situation. Remember to just lower down your voice if you are talking to someone through call because people around you might get disrupted since the sound is compressed inside the train or bus.

5. Find Something To Read

For a thing to read, you can read newspaper while on a train or a bus for you to be updated with the news. You can also bring books and read it. but if you are a techie person, you can use your phone or tablets for reading some ebooks like Kindle. Like what I said, Imagine the hours you stay sitting at the bus or train without doing anything. Reading something will make your waiting more productive. In fact, when I was before on a train. I almost finish 2 chapters by reading a book until I am on my destination. it's just nice that you didn't notice the time because you spend your time reading and not just waiting.
